MULTIPLIeR EVENTS

The WESTEM Project shares its results and engages with target groups and stakeholders. To achieve this, we have organized several local events; here are just a few examples of the events we have held. We have also collected some significant events known as "multiplier events". Below are a few examples of these events, but you can learn more about them by clicking "Read more".

The event was a great success, with lively discussions and debates on various STEM-related topics.  Additionally, there were four other events - Maker-Space on November 10th, 2023, and two more at the Malmö University, on November 23rd, 2023 and January 12th 2024. Both of these events primarily consisted of workshops and Maker-space activities.  A more extensive dissemination workshop was held at Rotary on January 15th 2024.

FINAL
CONFERENCE

SYNTHESIS organized a conference in Cyprus to present the WESTEM project. Comm. Josie Christodoulou, Gender Equality in Cyprus,  inaugurated the meeting on December 6th, 2023.

Women role models and members from YouthMakerSpace Larnaka were also present. KC coordinator Soley Moreno presented the project's results. Dr Eva Hartell from KTH, Stockholm, gave a presentation about Gender and STEM. A short documentary was also presented.

Given the low attendance, a second conference was held in January 2024 in Nicosia, Cyprus. Forty participants attended successfully, including teachers, policymakers, researchers, and the public. Local education associations and unions supported the conference.
